Current Urgent Needs

Need: Meals for each week classes during Fall Session

Renewed Treasures

We are in need of shift volunteers at Renewed Treasures on Thursday and Saturday afternoons. 

Shift Volunteer: Select and prepare inventory as well as create an inviting shopping environment.

Connection Center

Do you have time once a week to reach out to our Clients in Need to provide resources, prayer and hope? Intake Volunteer: Connect neighbors to resources such as food, clothing, furniture, diapers, transportation and more.

IMPACT

Do you enjoy offering a hand up to those in need of support? We are looking for class facilitators, coaches, kids ministry volunteers and prayer team members that will greatly support the lives being transformed through IMPACT.

Connection Center

Reception: Greeting and guiding our callers and visitors into the Love INC ministry.

Intake Volunteer: Connecting neighbors to resources such as food, clothing, furniture, diapers, transportation and more. Making reference calls, and offering ongoing check in support.

Resourcing: Maintaining and updating our database of resources.

Renewed Treasures

Shift Volunteer: Selecting and preparing inventory as well as creating an inviting shopping environment.

Shift Lead Volunteer: Overseeing a small team of volunteers and assisting the Store Manager with larger projects, store merchandising and point of sales system. 

Donation Relocation: Helping move unsalable donations to other resale organizations and ministries who take donations. 

IMPACT

Support Teams: Assist in ongoing fellowship dinner with various visiting meal teams. Welcome and direct Participants and visitors. Set-up and clean-up the campus.

Coaching: Supporting class Participants through their course curriculum and life goals.

Class Facilitator/Discussion Group Leader: Helping others discover their God-given potential through content devoted to healthy goal-setting, faith, finances and relationships.

Furniture Ministry

Foreman: Oversee a monthly team to deliver furniture to families in need.

Mover: Serve monthly on a furniture team.

Warehouse: Serve monthly on a warehouse team to prep and restore furniture ready for pick-up.

Diaper Ministries

Prayer Partner: Connect and pray with families as they come to pick up their diapers.

Transportation 

Driver: Helping friends and neighbors get to important appointments

Navigation

Navigator: Supporting clients and families through a short-term transition or challenge that needs guidance with learned life skills and/or professional experience.

Love INC Office

Admin Support: Assist staff with tasks, projects and possibly data entry.

Engagement Team: Connecting with area churches through events and service days.

Resource Development: Help grow Love INC through Donor relations, events, Marketing & Communications, accounting support and large mailings.

Love INC mobilizes Christian Volunteers, honors the confidentiality of all involved and celebrates the stories of transformation. Love INC is a partnership of diverse local churches, using the Apostles’ Creed as our unifying statement of faith. Our ongoing Love INC volunteers agree to either the Statement of Faith or the Apostles’ Creed. If you are uncomfortable using one of those two options to profess your Christian faith, please use the comment field below. If you seek to support the community with Love INC through one-time service projects, the profession of faith is not required.

I agree that I will not disclose or discuss personal information that is shared in confidence, to anyone other than the appropriate Love INC/IMPACT leadership. I will not be involved in gossip or negative conversation that could reflect badly on those who are serving or being served, or on the ministry of Love INC/IMPACT; with the exception of if someone threatens to harm themselves or someone else (calling 911 may be the most appropriate response).
