Life is full of ups and downs, and wellness is a lifelong journey. There are times when we feel like we’re thriving, and other times we’re barely hanging on. Overcome is a Christ-centered group experience designed to help you build supportive relationships, develop tools for wellness, and deepen your faith.

Overcome Syllabus

Overcome is an exercise in community, a small group experience designed to create space for you to build meaningful relationships and maximize your mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Overcome is for people of all backgrounds. This is a place where you can be yourself and have real, honest conversations, to explore and discover. It’s okay to have doubts and ask questions. We don’t want the right answers, we want you — just as you are. In this place, you are respected and valued. In creating space for mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, we explore anchors of wellness that fortify our identity in Christ (and not in what troubles us):  abiding, self-awareness, self-care, sharing hope, tools, community, and safety plans. Each class follow the same rhythm: Check-in, Reflection, Prayer, Discussion, Application, Takeaway, Check-out, and Closing Prayer. As our journey together progresses, we become comfortable sharing our story and accessing the abiding peace of Jesus within us. We work from the guide created by My Quiet Cave, and all work is completed in group.
