Is it hard to get past feelings of confusion, anger, loneliness, and hopelessness? Learn the practical skills for distress tolerance, how to focus on the present moment, managing intense feelings, and improving interpersonal effectiveness as you pursue God's plan for your life.

MANAGING STRESS

Overwhelming feelings can cause us to struggle with problems like dysfunctional relationships, interfere with schoolwork and jobs, create health problems, and cripple our ability to focus or concentrate. This small group class will teach through in-class application and practice four core skill sets that can help us keep on track and experience connection with God, our inner selves, and the people around us.  In a safe and low-key environment, we will learn and practice strategies such as self-soothing and relaxation, mindful breathing techniques, how to let go of negative thoughts, assertiveness, and negotiating.

Class size is limited to ten people.
