There’s something powerful about walking into a room and knowing you belong.
Not because you have everything figured out or life looks a certain way or even because you have something to offer.
Simply because someone saw you, welcomed you, and made room for you.
This kind of belonging matters.
At Love INC Littleton, we believe meeting needs is about more than providing practical help. It’s about creating real connection—relationships where people can feel seen, known, encouraged, and included.
One IMPACT participant recently put this into words:
“I don’t wanna go to my singles’ group because I don’t wanna miss out on IMPACT night. I feel more included at IMPACT than anywhere else.”
Her words are a beautiful reminder that sometimes what makes the greatest difference isn’t just what happens in a program, it’s how we feel when we’re there. Being welcomed, valued, and truly included matters.
When someone contacts the Connection Center, we want them to know they’re more than a need on a list. They’re a person with a story, a name, hopes, challenges, gifts, and a place in our community.
And inclusion works both ways.
- A volunteer who delivers furniture may discover the experience gives them a deeper sense of purpose.
- A church partner may find a new way to serve their local neighbors.
- A donor may see how their generosity creates opportunities for connection.
- A neighbor receiving help may eventually become the one offering encouragement to someone else.
This is what feeling included looks like.
It’s neighbors helping neighbors. It’s churches, volunteers, donors, and community partners coming together so people don’t have to walk through difficult seasons alone. It’s people making room for one another.
Because everyone needs to know: I am seen. I am known. I matter. I belong.
That’s a big piece of what Love INC tries to create—a community where there is room for every person, and where practical help becomes the beginning of meaningful connection.
There’s a place for you here. And together, we’re making room for more.
