"Love bears all things..." -1 Corinthians 13:7
In this well-known verse, the word “bear” means “to cover,” like a roof shelters a home. Isn’t that a beautiful visual of God’s love? In the midst of life’s storms, God’s love becomes our covering, our protection, our safeguard in the same way a roof shields the house.
And to bring it a bit closer to home, each time a volunteer walks alongside a neighbor in a difficult season, that covering becomes visible as Christ’s love is made known in real and tangible ways. In those moments, hearts are comforted as people experience God’s love in action.
Love INC Littleton seeks to live the truth of Scripture and bring Scripture to life in visible, creative, and joy-filled ways. So we are exited to announce the:
Love Bears All Things activity.
We’ve invited Love INC volunteers to carry a small, stuffed Love INC Bear with them when they serve, capturing moments that reflect how Christ’s love is being shared across our community.
A volunteer might bring a Love INC Bear along during furniture delivery, prayer time, a transportation ride, donation sorting, mentoring moments, or any act of service. They’ll capture a photo of what they + the bear are doing. This creates a visual testimony:
love is present, love is active, and love is shared in the name of Jesus.
With these moments, we want to tell the collective story, highlighting how ordinary acts of service become extraordinary expressions of God’s love.
