One of Love INC Littleton’s important Gap Ministries is Furnishing Hope. Volunteers with this ministry pick up furniture donations and deliver furniture to families who have a need they have shared through the Connection Center.
While this ministry in particular takes some muscle and effort to heft furniture, the people you meet and the joy of serving make it all worth it as this Team Lead shares….
“We had two pickups and two deliveries today. One delivery was to a family with a special needs daughter. When we got there, the mom was so happy to see us.
“As we walked in we saw the couch they had for the daughter. It just wasn’t right for her. Then we moved their new couch inside, and to see the reaction from both mom and daughter made all the hard work worth it!
“I encourage [people] to make time for 3 hours a month on a Saturday to help out [and volunteer with Furnishing Hope].
“There is no greater feeling than how you feel when you give back.”
