As we close this Easter season, we’re reminded that the love of Christ is more than a promise—it’s a power that transforms lives. Jesus meets people where they are, bringing renewal, healing, and restored purpose. At Love INC, we have the privilege of walking alongside our neighbors in need and witnessing this transformation unfold in tangible ways. We praise God for moments where Easter truth takes root and new life becomes apparent.
Because of what Christ has done, the truth of 2 Corinthians 5:17 comes alive: “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.” This isn’t just a verse we read. It’s a reality we can see unfolding in real lives, in real time.
Earlier this year, that transformation took shape in a notable way during a one-time “Overcoming Fear” workshop held just before an evening of IMPACT. Led by Jessalynn, long-time IMPACT volunteer, the workshop created space for honest reflection and meaningful growth. Fear is something every human wrestles with. It often quietly shapes our decisions, limits our steps forward, or keeps us feeling stuck.
During the workshop, twenty participants leaned into that reality together. They explored the roots of fear. They discussed how to see where fear shows up in their behaviors and choices. And they leaned into practical strategies to move forward beyond fear.
And the experience didn’t end when the workshop did.
The following week, every participant who attended responded with a clear “yes” when asked if the workshop had helped them identify where they felt stuck and begin making a plan to move forward without letting fear make decisions for them. That simple moment with hands raised in agreement represented something profound: clarity, courage, and a commitment toward growth.
This is what Easter can look like in real life.
Easter looks like fear loosening its grip.
Easter looks like new understanding taking root.
Easter looks like people choosing a different path forward, a path shaped by truth instead of fear.
And as Love INC continues forward, we hold tightly to the promise: “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.” May we keep showing up, trusting God is always at work making all things new.
