Transformation seems to show up most often when we are in community together. It can enter quietly through presence and shared stories. Through safe spaces. And through people continuing to show up for one another.
For Cathy, a Love INC volunteer, transformational community is key. She loves being with and serving the IMPACT family. On those Thursday nights, she sees something sacred unfolding.
The song “Let Them See You “by JJ Weeks has become an anthem for Cathy’s journey. Its message, “Let them see You in me,” reflects her deepest prayer—that others would see Christ through her words and her actions.
And that’s exactly what happens at IMPACT.
But Cathy will tell you it goes both ways. As much as she hopes others see Christ in her, she also sees Christ in them. It’s as if every interaction creates small but powerful ripples of kindness, hope, and belonging that spread throughout the IMPACT community.
This is the beauty of being united in Christ. Together, we are all being changed. As 2 Corinthians 3:18 reminds us, “And we all… are being transformed into his image…”
And in that transformation—shared, lived out, and multiplied—we begin to see the true impact of community united in Christ.
