Jerry Reaches Durango!
08/08/20 – After a good night’s sleep, we had breakfast and broke camp for our last full day of hiking. The plan was to descend (except for 2 relatively minor ascents) from our camp at about 10,000′ to a possible water source at 8,210′ and stop there for the night (again, depending on the “whether”).

08/07/20 – After breakfast, we left for our 11.5 mile hike for the day. Although today was physically challenging, the views were well worth the effort! The first 3.5 miles climbed out of the trees and into tundra at 11,821′. From there, we traversed Indian Trail Ridge, 4 miles of ascents and descents that offered
